منگل کو خان پور ڈیم پر 35 اسکول کے طلباء اور چار اساتذہ کو لے جانے والی کشتی الٹ گئی۔جس وقت یہ واقعہ پیش آیا اسکول کے بچوں اور ان کے اساتذہ کا ایک گروپ تفریحی مقاصد کے لیے خانپور ڈیم پر آیا ہوا تھا۔
ریسکیو ذرائع کے مطابق تمام 35 بچوں کو ڈیم سے نکال کر ہسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے جہاں 4 بچوں کی حالت تشویشناک بتائی جاتی ہے، ٹیچر کی لاش بھی ڈیم سے نکال لی گئی ہے۔ریسکیو ذرائع کے مطابق کشتی اوور لوڈنگ کے باعث الٹ گئی، انتظامیہ صورتحال پر توجہ دیتی تو حادثے سے بچا جا سکتا تھا۔
