Sonya Hussyn has lately won her first-ever award at PISA 2021 for the drama serial Saraab. While entering the award for the stylish actress Sonya had an emotional meltdown on stage as it was her first award after being nominated 16 times in different award shows. Actress Faryal Mehmood was also on stage to present her stylish actress award and she has shown a gladdening gesture while comforting Sonya Hussyn on stage.

In the award-winning speech, Sonya said “ Seven times of my amusement career and 16 nominations, Moment I’m eventually getting my 1st award. I can’t believe it because if you work on any social issue in Pakistan similar effects aren’t honored”. Sonya devoted her award to the production, direction, cast, and crew of her drama her Mama, and all the schizophrenic patients.
