For the second season in a row, Spotify and Coke Studio Pakistan—two of Pakistan’s most significant music giants—have partnered to honour regional music, talent, and culture.

A signature highlight of this partnership on Spotify, the Coke Studio in-app destination offers fans an immersive audio journey with new releases and specially curated playlists. Coke Studio Pakistan kicked off Season 15 on April 14 with another star-studded line-up producing some incredible tracks.

As the official music streaming partner of Coke Studio Pakistan for Season 15, Spotify is excited to maintain this connection, according to Khan FM, the company’s artist and label partnerships manager for Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.

Expanding on our previous achievements, we’ve developed a special “Coke Studio Pakistan” destination that provides our more than 600 million active music fans with a wide selection of well-known songs from all seasons, including the newest, bringing the Sound of the Nation to the whole globe, he continued. We’re dedicated to showcasing the vast diversity of Pakistani music to our worldwide audience, reinforcing Spotify’s dedication to providing a varied and welcoming music experience.

Spotify has achieved tremendous results and set new standards for the Pakistani music business as the exclusive audio streaming partner of Coke Studio Season 14.

The successful collaboration produced an astounding 430 million streams in 2022 over all 13 of Season 14’s songs. This accomplishment clearly outperformed the 15 million streams for Seasons 12 and 13, highlighting the potent synergy between the two projects.

The fact that “Pasoori” has had over 330 million plays to date and counting is a testament to the success of Spotify’s involvement in this collaboration. In addition to becoming the most popular song in Pakistan on Spotify, this hit song has been added to more than 3 million user playlists worldwide, demonstrating its widespread appeal. India, the US, the UK, Pakistan, and Canada are the top five nations where “Pasoori” is streamed.

“We are thrilled to carry on our fruitful collaboration with Spotify for Season 15 of Coke Studio. With the help of Spotify, this partnership breaks down boundaries by using the common language of music to share Pakistani music and tales with a worldwide audience. In concert, we hope to promote a greater understanding of Pakistani culture and its thriving music industry, stated Zeeshan Sikander, Senior EPICS Manager for Eurasia and the Middle East at Coke Studio.
