Pakistan Post Becomes the Official Delivery Partner of Amazon
According to the official handout, Pakistan Post Office has been formally confirmed as an Amazon delivery partner from now to onward.
In addition, the Post Office will prioritize an inventory of authorized locations for warehouse construction in 9 cities, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Islamabad, and Karachi. By the 15th of June, facilitation centers are established within the 9 cities mentioned above, subject to government requirements.
The Pakistan Post Office has designated the use of senior officers from 9 locations across the country to confirm proper facilitation of export-worthy products from local traders and industrial partners, in step with a circular. Additionally, the circular instructs the Post Office to form arrangements with front firms based in other countries that help Amazon’s supply chain.
Also, in light of the country’s historic achievement, the Director-General of the Post Office has urged all concerned officials and stakeholders to complete all pending preparations to integrate their services with Amazon’s global platform as early as possible.
