پولیس اہلکار نے میڈیا کو یہ بھی بتایا کہ تاجروں کی ایسوسی ایشن اور مقامی انتظامیہ کے تعاون سے محکمہ اس ڈیوائس کو نافذ کیا جائے گا۔انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ڈیوائس کو عوام کو فروخت کرنے کے لیے ہر علاقے میں سڑک کے کنارے سٹال لگائے جائیں گے۔محکمہ موٹروے پولیس نے رپورٹ کیا ہے کہ زیادہ تر موٹروے حادثات ڈرائیوروں کی وجہ سے ہوتے ہیں جو ڈرائیونگ کے دوران سو جاتے ہیں ، جس کی وجہ سے روزانہ کی بنیاد پر سینکڑوں افراد اپنی جان سے ہاتھ دھو بیٹھتے ہیں۔
اس میں مزید کہا گیا ہے کہ ڈرائیور اور مسافر دونوں کو نئی ڈیوائس پہننی چاہیے تاکہ اس طرح کی آفات سے بچا جا سکے۔
Motorway Police Introduces Anti-Sleep Device for Drivers
The National Highways & Motorway Police has launched an alarm-like system to stop drivers from falling asleep at the wheel to curtail traffic accidents, and claims that it’ll considerably reduce the speed of motorway accidents.
The device has got to be worn on their ears and has sensors that trigger an alarm when the top of a driver tilts forward thanks to drowsiness. The sound may be a loud beep that pops near the driver’s ears.
As mentioned by a motorway policeman who, during a video showed the utilization of the device, currently costs Rs. 750 but with the assistance of an anonymous donor, it’ll be made available for the general public at Rs. 300.
The policeman also told the media that, in coordination with the traders’ associations and native administrations, the department will implement the device. He added that to sell the device to the general public, roadside stalls are going to be placed in each area.
The Department of Motorway Police has reported that the majority of motorway accidents are caused by drivers who nod off while driving, causing many people to lose their lives on a day today. It added that both drivers and passengers should wear the new devices to avoid such disasters.
