Zhongtong, the bus manufacturers of China has recently secured an order to supply about 100 units of around 18-metre-long buses that are for Green Line also as for Orange Line Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) projects within the city of Karachi.
These energy buses are going to be in orange and green colours and it’ll provide a way needed comfortable mode of transportation to the people of Karachi besides easing the traffic jam .
Asad Umar, the federal Minister of designing and Development has also recently said in his Tweet that this is often currently being tested by the Chinese authorities for the mechanical and questions of safety then the energy buses are going to be launched.
However, it had been added that when this inspection is completed, a complete of about 80 buses are going to be shipped right to Karachi and can be added to the Green Line’s fleet. Thos mass transit project is additionally expected to become operational this year in 2021.
