حال ہی میں یونیورسٹی آف بلوچستان کے ہیبت خان حلیمی نے ملک کے معمر ترین پی ایچ ڈی سکالر بن کر تاریخ رقم کی۔ہیبت خان حلیمی، جن کی عمر 85 سال ہے، نے یونیورسٹی آف بلوچستان کے 18ویں کانووکیشن میں ڈگری حاصل کی۔

جب ہیبت اپنی ڈگری لینے کے لیے سٹیج پر پہنچے تو تمام حاضرین نے کھڑے ہو کر تالیوں کی گونج میں ان کی تعریف کی۔ بلوچستان کے گورنر سید ظہور احمد آغا نے ڈگری دینے سے قبل معمر ترین پی ایچ ڈی سکالر کو گلے لگایا۔

گورنر کے مطابق اس عمر میں پی ایچ ڈی کرنے کا خیال اور اسے مکمل کرنے کی قوت ارادی ان تمام لوگوں کے لیے متاثر کن اور تحریک کا ذریعہ ہے جو علم اور تعلیم کے خواہشمند ہیں۔

Haibat Khan Haleemi Makes History by Becoming Pakistan’s Oldest PhD Scholar

Recently, University of Balochistan’s Haibat Khan Haleemi made history by getting the country’s oldest Ph.D. scholar.

Haibat Khan Haleemi, who’s 85 times of age attained his degree at the University of Balochistan’s 18th convocation. When Haibat walked the stage to take his degree, the entire audience appreciated him by giving him a round of applause while standing. Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha, Governor of Balochistan, embraced the oldest Ph.D. Scholar before giving him the degree.

According to the Governor, the idea of doing a Ph.D. at this age and the willpower to finish it, is inspiring and a source of provocation for all those who are eager to seek knowledge and education.
