We are seeking a creative Social Media Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be a central creative behind fun and cool social content on Android and Google channels. You will act as an innovative partner to the Senior Producer, collaborating on new ideas and bringing projects to life.
We are seeking someone who loves to experiment, is deeply familiar with the tech and product design world, and has a passion for creating visuals that are not only visually appealing but also effective in driving social engagement. We are also looking for someone who enjoys moving at the speed of social – experimenting with how we can create cool content in the moment, to participate in conversations before they pass.
Candidates will be REQUIRED to submit a working LINK of visual design work
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute creative concepts primarily for social media. Design and create a wide range of visual assets for social media and other platforms, including GIFs, motion graphics, graphics, illustrations, and animations.
- Act as a creative partner to the Senior Producer, brainstorming, exploring new ideas, and experimenting with visual concepts.
- Work together with product marketers and product teams to create engaging ways to show off how a product works and what makes it special.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is product-accurate and consistent with Android and Google brand standards
- Occasionally, help develop high-quality presentation decks and slides for both internal and external use.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design, user experience, and technology.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet fast deadlines.
- Communicate design concepts and rationalize to stakeholders and team members.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in GIFs, motion graphics, and social media content.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.
- Experience in UI design is a MUST.
- Experience with Android. Experience with Google’s innovations, including AI creative tools.
- Comfortable working with product design assets is a plus.
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for experimenting with new ideas.
- An interest in digital community building and conversation is a plus.
- Experience creating presentation decks and slides is highly desirable.
- A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
